Privacy Policy
How we handle your information
Effective July 23, 2026 · End Property Tax Now, Inc.
We collect the information you choose to give us so we can record campaign support, send updates you request, respond to inquiries, and organize the movement. We do not sell personal information submitted through our forms. An online supporter signature is not an official Florida initiative petition signature.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how End Property Tax Now, Inc. (“EPTN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through this website, its forms, and related campaign communications. It does not govern websites or services operated by third parties that we link to or embed.
2. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the site, you may provide:
- Supporter information: first and last name, email address, ZIP code, optional county, public-display choice, and email-update choice.
- Email subscription information: email address and optional first name.
- Inquiry information: name, email address, organization, city, request type, event or media details, order questions, and the message you submit.
- Privacy-request information: identity and contact details needed to locate records and respond to your request.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, financial account information, Social Security numbers, health information, or government identification through general site forms.
3. Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and content-delivery providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs. This information may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate site use.
4. How we use information
- Record and display campaign support according to your choices.
- Send campaign, legislative, event, ballot, and official-petition updates when you affirmatively opt in.
- Respond to event, media, book, legal, and privacy requests.
- Organize supporters and county activity using location information you provide.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and campaign operations.
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights and safety of EPTN, our supporters, and others.
5. When information may be disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers that help us host the site, store form submissions, deliver email, process donations or purchases, provide security, or support campaign operations. These providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of campaign operations.
We do not sell personal information submitted through our forms. We do not use that form information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Public supporter display
If you select the public-display option, the site may show your first name as a supporter. We do not intend to publicly display your email address, ZIP code, full surname, or inquiry details. You may withdraw the public-display choice by submitting a privacy request below.
7. Email choices
Campaign email is optional. You may unsubscribe through the link included in campaign email or submit a privacy request. Transactional replies to a request you initiated may still be sent when necessary to address that request.
8. Cookies, embeds, and third-party services
The site may use essential browser storage or cookies needed for delivery, security, or user preferences. Embedded or linked services, including YouTube, Facebook, Anedot, news outlets, and other media providers, may collect information under their own privacy policies. Video articles use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain where practical, but YouTube may still process information when you play a video. Leaving this site means the third party’s terms and privacy practices apply.
9. Official petitions and public records
The online supporter form is not the official Florida constitutional initiative petition and does not count toward ballot qualification. Information placed on an official initiative petition may be handled by election officials and may become a public record under Florida law. This policy does not control records held by a Supervisor of Elections, the Florida Division of Elections, or another government body.
10. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to honor supporter choices, maintain campaign records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information you provided. You may also withdraw email or public-display consent. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information when legally permitted or required. Authorized agents may be asked to provide proof of authority.
12. Children’s privacy
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, use the form below so we can review the request.
13. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the campaign, site, or law changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. We will not apply materially more permissive data practices retroactively without appropriate notice or consent.
14. Contact and requests
Use this form for privacy questions or requests. Do not include sensitive documents or identification unless the campaign team later provides a secure method and specifically asks for them.
