Terms of Use
Rules for using this website
Effective July 23, 2026 · End Property Tax Now, Inc.
This is an advocacy and campaign-information website. It is not a government website, an election office, or a source of legal, tax, financial, or election-administration advice. The online supporter form is not an official Florida initiative petition.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and End Property Tax Now, Inc. (“EPTN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this website, submitting a form, or using site content, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law to use features that require acceptance of these Terms. The site is not directed to children under 13. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
3. Campaign and petition status
EPTN is an advocacy organization. References to “petition,” “sign,” “supporter,” “campaign,” or “movement” on general website forms describe expressions of support unless a page clearly identifies an official Florida initiative petition form.
An online supporter submission:
- does not qualify a constitutional amendment for the ballot;
- is not verified by a Supervisor of Elections;
- is not a substitute for an approved official petition form; and
- does not guarantee that an initiative, bill, or policy will advance or be adopted.
Official requirements are governed by Florida law and the appropriate election authorities. Follow the instructions on any approved official form.
4. Informational content and no professional advice
Site content presents campaign positions, commentary, educational material, and summaries for general information. It may discuss law, elections, taxes, public policy, or financial effects, but it is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional or the appropriate government authority before relying on information for a legal filing, tax decision, financial decision, or official election action.
5. Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep content useful and current, but we do not warrant that every statement, date, estimate, link, or instruction is complete, current, or error-free. Laws, ballot procedures, public proposals, and third-party content can change. We may correct, update, suspend, or remove content or site features at any time.
6. Permitted use
You may access the site for personal, informational, advocacy, and other lawful purposes. You may share links to public pages and quote brief portions with accurate attribution when permitted by law. You may not:
- use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, or abusive conduct;
- impersonate another person, submit false information, or misrepresent authorization;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access, disrupt service, introduce malicious code, scrape at unreasonable volume, or bypass security controls;
- copy, republish, sell, or exploit protected site content except as permitted by law or written permission;
- suggest that EPTN endorses you, your organization, or your product without written authorization; or
- use supporter or contact information obtained through the site for unauthorized solicitation.
7. Submissions and communications
You are responsible for information and materials you submit. You represent that your submission is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights. You grant EPTN a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute nonconfidential content you intentionally submit for campaign, response, operational, and promotional purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy and any choices presented on the form. Do not submit confidential or sensitive material through general forms.
8. Donations, books, and third-party transactions
Donation, payment, book, merchandise, video, social-media, or other linked services may be provided by third parties such as Anedot, YouTube, Facebook, vendors, or media outlets. Their terms, privacy practices, payment rules, shipping terms, refund policies, and accessibility practices apply to their services. A link does not necessarily mean EPTN controls or endorses all content on the linked service. Tax deductibility of any payment depends on the recipient, the transaction, and applicable law; consult your tax adviser.
9. Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, graphics, logos, campaign marks, photographs, videos, downloadable materials, and other content are owned by EPTN or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the site under these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EPTN and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from reliance on site content, third-party services, interrupted access, or unauthorized access. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to EPTN for the site-related transaction giving rise to the claim or $100. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EPTN and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access to the site, remove submissions, or take protective action when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or when necessary to protect the site, campaign, supporters, or others.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law controls. Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. Changes, severability, and entire agreement
We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Terms. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning use of this site, except for separate written agreements or third-party transaction terms that also apply.
16. Questions
For legal or Terms questions, use the privacy and legal request form on our Privacy Policy page. Do not submit sensitive documents through the general form.
